Part 2 - Magic Kingdom

Day 2 - we hit the Magic Kingdom! My favorite! First order of business: see Mickey and Minnie.

One of Bailey's favorite rides was Cinderella's carousel.

She also loved riding Dumbo

and the teacups!

Nap time

Waiting to watch the parade

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E - Part 1

At the end of September we took a Luce family trip to Disney World. This was Bailey and Colton's first visit to see the mouse. I have never done Disney with a child (except when I was a child), so this was definitely a different experience than I've ever had there. But, of course, it was so great to experience everything in a new way with my own child now.

Since I have so many pictures that I want to include, I am going to break this up into several posts so as not to get too long and overloaded with photos all at once.

In the middle of trying to pack, here's what I find in the suitcase.

Since Rody wouldn't fit, she thought maybe she could fit instead.

Early morning at the airport - looking for our plane

Hanging out in our hotel room on our first day in Florida

After we arrived, we just spent the afternoon at our hotel room resting up for the next few days. That evening we headed to Downtown Disney.

Window shopping

At the World of Disney store, Bailey and Colton got the idea that these pillow pets were for riding.

First morning, sleeping away - no idea what lies in store today

Aunt Lisa and Colton, ready for a fun day at the parks

These two have no idea what they're in for! (neither do the rest of us)

We spent our first day at Animal Kingdom. First we caught the Finding Nemo live show. No pictures, but it was a hit.

Nana made these cute matching outfits for Bailey and Colton to wear.

Buggy Mommy - before It's Tough to Be a Bug 3D show. This one did not go over well - a little too scary for 1- and 2-year olds.

Disney was in full Fall/Halloween mode, and I loved it!

Waiting to ride Kilamanjaro Safaris

At Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade

The big moment - B's first time meeting Mickey and getting his autograph. She loves him on TV in his clubhouse, but face to face....well, not so much.

Colton was really not happy with him.

Donald was the only one she didn't mind that day. She even gave him a high five....

....but still not too sure about taking a picture with him.

Long day

After we left Animal Kingdom, we went back to our hotel to put our Halloween costumes on. We had tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. This is an event that happens on certain nights throughout September, October, and November. The park stays open extra late with a Halloween parade, fireworks, trick or treating, character meet and greets, and attractions open for riding. It was really fun.

Waiting for the parade to start
